first start up in months - what to do

my FC import arrives "down under" in may/june, by that stage however, it would have been sitting in a storage yard for about 5 months, and god knows how long its been since someone drove it in japan (only done 59,000 ks). Bearing this in mind, when i go to pick it up from the docks, what should i be doing. I know to replace all the fluids and fuel and battery etc, but is there nething else i should try and do? I dont want to blow any seals starting it up the first time
cheers

Once you've replaced the oil and fuel, jumper the yellow fuel pump plug in the engine bay and turn the ignition on for half a minute or so. This'll pump the old fuel out of the lines and replace it with fresh stuff. Turn the ignition off and remove the jumper wire.

Pull out the EGI fuse and crank the engine over until you see oil pressure register on the gauge. That'll make sure at least some of the new oil is distributed around the engine.

It might also need a little AFT squirted in the leading plug holes to help build compression, as there may not be much oil left on the seals.

Good luck.
