first mod

first mod

what do u recommend as the first mod. i have about 1000 set aside. should i go exhaust. would it be bad to save for a supercharger as the first mod. or do i need my car breathing good first?

I would do exhaust first,and if you have enough money, get intake too. Those will make your engine breathe much better. I would go for exhaust/intake before you go for a supercharger.

Which model do you have - NA or Turbo II?

If turbo - the first mods should be gagues - period - no exceptions.

Otherwise you won't know if other mods are doing damage by running lean with excessive boost.

The most important are boost and air/fuel. These will let you know if your running good or on your way to detination.

After than - consider coolant temp (OEM guage is for looks), exhaust temp (another way to see if you running lean/ritch), and maby oil temp.
