First Engine Pull, by myself. =)

Well I've had a great afternoon!

I missed work, but it was certainly worth it... all my days of work (yes it tooks me days... weeks even (2) to get this done... well, this and remove the entire interior) have FINALLY paid off.

So I attached a pic... I have TONS more pics but I'm saving them for a larger project. =)

Oh and I'm also attaching a picture of a strange thing on one of my housings... I'm very worried, it looks like a crack... the engine was in great condition, I'm pre-emptive rebuilding it because it has 158k and I didn't feel like destroying a rotor housing waiting for it to blow. (Especially with how I drive..)

Hey, how about making a writeup for pulling the motor, like with lots of pics and details. I've seen a few, but they're too vague.

nice job btw, somedday that'll be me too

Definitely not normal. That rotor housing is long gone.

I don't know now, here are some clearer pictures I just took after cleaning it up a bit...

Now the things I WAS looking at DON'T look normal... but what I DIDN'T see was all these little lines all coming from the spark plug hole radiating out... I'm gonna go look at the other housing too... needless to say I'm worried...
