Question Fire in engine bay

i am currently lookin at a 1988 turbo 2 for $600,that had a small engine fire. i know for a fact that the ecu harness has been burned.what else could have been burned that i would have 2 replace.i was thnking that all i really need to to replace is the harness and most of the hoses in the engine bay.

thanx,
aaron

oh yeah how much would i be looking at for all of it?

Hows the hood look? Also peek at the injectors, PD, AFM, and anything else thats costly under the hood.

Cost is hard to say .. I have heard of used harnesses for $150ish, and new ones in the multi hundreds. I would find one ahead of time .. so you know your budget. I mean if you have to pay for $1000 in parts right off the bat... you got a $1600 TII not a $600 one.

Sounds like a good "ground up" restore project. Make you own wiring harness instead.
