Finishing Exhaust system tommorow, hows it sound?
I'm open to any idea's & or critisism I am just trying to figure out if this sounds okay? and if you guys see any downside to this setup?
I have a 3 Inch RacingBeat Downpipe & 3 Inch RacingBeat Pre silencer. I was goign to finish off with the rest of the 3 IN. RB setup, but it won't be ready in time. So then I was going to get the Apexi Dual N1 setup .. but I found out its only ~60mm at the Y pipe (to small fug that) So I got these Apexi Canisters
"APEX'i N1 Series Universal Turbo Mufflers can be used in the fabrication of practically any exhaust system. The unit consists of a canister and tip, which must be welded onto custom piping. Sound levels must be controlled through piping diameter and the effective use of resonators. These N1 Series Universal Turbo Mufflers are available in a variety of colors: Silver, Gold, Blue, Black, Green, and Magneta Turbo Muffler 80mm inlet, 115mm outlet."
I am having a full 80mm (3.15 Inch) Y pipe and dual pipes welded to those caisters off of my pre silencer. Anyone see any problems? or have any sugestions. My mods are in my Sig.
If you guys think this all sounds okay I am going to proceed with the custom installation tommorow.
Thanks,
Robert

Right. That's why he's buying the cheap one now, and getting one custom made later.
At least, that's how I read it.

Here is the PICS. I can't find the memory card of the pics I took with it on the hoist. I will post them later when I find that card. So I snapped these just now... so you can get the idea.
Only thing I have left to do it the paint job, and get the leather seats recovered... then this bad boy is DONE!!
ahh and some dyno time.

I have a corksport 3" dp with a 3"glasspack(bad idea), and 3" mandrel bends I welded myself back to an-angled black Apexi N1 muffler. I like the looks of the black one as its a lil less noticeable than polished ones. I plan on replacing the glasspack that burned out immediately with a Borla XR1 in place where the cat was. Without the silncer in it is, of course, extremely loud with a definate rotary bark/rasp! Flows like hell though and is much lighter than the full RBeat setup I used to have. I have found that there is just as much value to be placed in the cat/resonator/midpipe as is the muffler as it has almost as much controll(as the muffler) over the overall exhaust note and decibal.
