Finaly installed my Koyo rad

A while back I ordered a Koyo from Steve at www.gothamracing.com and when it got to me it had been totaled. Koyo did one of the crappiest jobs of packing this thing, and the USPS didnt care to notice the fragile sticker on the box. Both the top and bottom pipes had been punched thru the box. The filler mouth was turned from an O to a nice D shape. Well I got on the phone with Steve and sent it back to Koyo. Well USPS and Koyo both said they wouldn't cover the damage of the radiator. I wasnt sure what to do now, but Steve stepped to the rescue. Talk about customer service. Steve soon hooked me up with a new rad from Koyo, this one with no damage. =P Well with my buddy Dan and my bro helped with the install. It went in very easly, and no fittment problems. I left off the fan shroud because I plan on installing a electric fan soon. Even though Koyo sucks, there radiators are superb, dwarfing the stock radiator. My car no longer has that classic "ADD COOLANT" buzzer sound. Well as for Gotham Racing I cant stress how helpful they were with getting me my radiator. I've worked in customer services for 4 years, and this is how you take care of customers with problems. Here are pics of the rad installed. My little story...

Glad to hear it went in well! Do you have an aftermarket water temp gauge to see if it makes a difference?

That is simply amazing that Koyo or the shipping company threw their hands in the air. Glad you got it resolved though.

I keep trying to upload the pics but it keeps saying its failing to upload the page. No I'm still using the stock temp guage, I plan on installing some gauges, and a aftermarket rad cap. Anyone know of a good electric fan?

I've had good luck receiving ICs, rads etc undamaged for my R1 *fingers crossed*. Although it sounds cliche, one of our top priorities at Gotham is customer satisfaction--I've been on the unhappy receiving end too many times and know very well what it's like. Glad to hear everything turned out ok .
