Got my right side drive rx7 out there around the block yesterday. Hella fun. Seemed to have plenty of power. Didn't want to shift into first, must have some air in the line. clutch master cylinder is new. Don't want to replace the slave cylinder since one of the bolts started to strip out so I just used some strong thread locker hoping it will last until I need to replace the clutch. My only worry was it made a weird sound when the rpms started to get up there, almost like grinding, not sure I need to get out there and drive it more to listen a little better. Also My exhaust hangs low in the middle, seems to be the angle that the downpipe comes in and continues to the cat and then goes back up. Thought about having my local muffler shop make me a downpipe that will go straight to the Y. Will this work alright.

 

It should work just fine....if it's a good muffler shop.
