FINALLY got the TII running!!!!
after 6 months o hell...i drove it 50 miles yesterday.
from having no interior, only the block in the engine bay, and missing many of the EFI parts (was a failed carb conversion).
ive think i have replaced 40% of the parts on this car....no joke
replaced the fuel pump, fuel lines with braided, earls filter, did the banjo bolt mod, replaced the injectors, modded the secondary fuel rail, had to get a aeromotive 13109 to replace the stock one, made the tid, custom DP back, the entire inteior from my old 7 went in, including putting in crank windows, a SA steering wheel, had to ebay for alot of stock parts like the stock mount IC and some little things, modded ported and polished the throttle body, MSD 6a (probalbly the reason it starts) outside mount fuel pressure gauge, replaced the entire break system (including master cyclinder), removed the ABS, and i cant rememeber everything else....
anyhow, the clutch master and slave are getting replaced this week because the clutch is hard to push and its generally sucks....
the engine is a rebuild so i have to start the rebuild process. doesnt even smoke anymore!
i do have some suspension clunks to work out and with the manual steering rack would steer easier....also need four new tires...
but after the first time driving it all i have to say is wow...
( i drive a 2.0 jetta everyday)
