Finally got it to start up again......

Alright. Update for those who don't know my problem.

Car would start fairly easy when cold, wouldn't start at all hot, 100% flooded.

Serviced injectors, 10% spread initially, now less than 2%. Didn't help starting problem.

so, I made a list of things to do and went to the shop on Saturday and spent 6 hrs working and then finished up Tuesday night

List:

Replace TPS with spare
Clean spare BAC and swap
set timing with new inductive timing light
change plugs
change fuel filter
gut CAT
install new alternator belt
install new power steering belt
install strut tower brace (not problem-related, but needed nonetheless)
re-solder ECU

I did all these things, re-soldered the ECU last night. Started the car up and she fired up really easy. Pulled it outside and left if idling to warm up while I finished getting my 92 Escort ready to go (bomber to drive to work).

went back out there 20 minutes later and shut if off, turned the key. Fired up easy. Pulled it in the shop (10 ft) and shut off. Fired up again. Dad stopped and started it twice as well, all within 15 minutes. Fired up easy every time.

The timing is my guess, because it was so far off that the marks weren't even seen when we first went to set it. They were almost 1/8 run to far advanced. How it ran, I don't know.
