Back story:
Broke another OEM Pivot Ball. (third one) My car has been laid up for over a month now cause I have been waiting for a kid to machine me a revised Clutch Fork Pivot Ball. He is a student in a machining class, and he did the work for free, so I couldn't bitch too much. He used a hardened tool steel and made a slight change that I am not going to disclose yet.

Well, he dropped it off to me today. It isn't exactly a finished part, but I can do the rest of the work (smoothing the tool marks of the head for example) I plan on installing it tomorrow night after work.

I don't have a pic of it yet, but my friend that is helping with the work has a digital camera I will take pics with.

With any luck it will last alot longer than the OEM part. Only time will tell. Also I plan on doing a detailed write-up with pics, so anyone that has not had to do this will have a guide.
