Also, I like how it took 7hr on bus (about 70mph) = about 500 miles... and it took you 4 hours to get home = 125mph AVERAGE

Not trying to bring down your new setup, but wouldn't you say It's abit odd to have had a Tranny rebuilt considering the car has 53k original miles? Or did I miss something that was clearly evident?

I had mine rebuilt last year, it only had 55k original miles. Second gear syncro was completely gone and fifth wasn't much better. Didn't have to replace everything, but if I'm cracking the tranny case open might as well.

silverrotor: Having 53k miles doesn't mean that it can't have its tranny broken. I checked carfax and everything, and the car itself looks very good, like 53k car should but shows its age sort of coz of being old. But it's still in very good condition.

Louis: It tooke me 7 hrs to get there coz I had to go to Detroit and transfer to take bus to Ann Arbor. I wasn't driving fast at all on the way back. Probably averaged 70mph. I can't afford anymore tickets since I already have -13 on my license!
Oh, and it's YohAn BTW

Wankel7: Thanks. The car ran great on the way back It's at rx7store now coz it runs too rich at idle and flooded on me, so I just have to get that straightened out. I talked to the previous owner and he said he thought it was running rich, too so he bumped up the idle to 850, but I guess that didn't solve the problem. Also being cold as hell and starting it in the morning didn't help! Well, while it's at the shop, I'm also just having them check out the car overall. Oh, and the dyno was with stock intercooler. I have the dyno sheet posted at my cardomain page '

And thanks everone for kind words I'll post more pics when I get her back from rx7store(probably Wednesday).

I live on OSU campus Living in a dorm for now. Let me know after winter break if you want me to show you the car

About the price tag, I know it's on high side for a FC, but it would cost much more than that to do the mods and tuning myself, so I feel like it's a good buy for me. Plus low mileage TIIs go for around 4-6k from what I see, and this car has way more than 5k in it, which makes it a very good value for me I just have to mod the suspension and maybe install FMIC(planning to do that before summer, but we'll see what happens ).

I wonder if that is anywhere near a record on the stock intercooler. That is not water/air

Holy thread resurrection....

vietxdragon: That's just a stock s5 TII lip, OEM part but no longer made new I don't think. FC3S.org makes a CF or fiberglass version, though.
