That is rather neat. How did you do it? Did you buy a kit or did you make the parts yourself and all that good stuff?

I know at least one company put out a model of a turbo II. No Idea if they are still available. Bought one years and was going to put it together but haven't done it yet. I also have a airplane model I started 10 years ago not finished too. Where's the time go?

its the initial D model, just bought it from this japanese market nearby. I custom made the ehaust thing from teh existing one that came with the kit and a piece of straw. i also put aroll cage in (not pictured), which i made from the perimeter of the piece sheets. the kit itself comes with 4 different bumpers, a sleeklight kit, popup headlights, 4 different seats, japanese and american dashes, intercooler, tow different taillights, that wierd del sol looking hatch, i thihnk two different exhausts, a bunch of different steering wheels, and some other goodies.

I love making custom models. That one looks really nice, good job. Now I have to get one of eBay. There are two different Initial D kits, one with the car drifting on the box and the other with the guy standing next to it parked, which one is yours? I just wanted to know because I don't think one has all the extras.

looks like you put the paint on a little thick, but I like it. I would have used a different bumper / light kit tho

I got both the Fujimi and the cheap Initial D kit that has a electric motor and is pretty much a tinted window body and bottom with wheels, nothing inside. Anyway the Fujima has cool options with it and a sheet showing different kinds of rims they make for them including Volk Racing and Super Advan. Got mine of ebay for $20. I could find out if the guy has anymore.

That is the same one I bought off of eBay. It is taking FOREVER to get here from Japan. The guy sent it on 2/18, and it still isn't here! After seeing yours, I can't wait till mine gets in. Nice job!!
