Finally completed something w00t!!

So I know its nothing major but I managed to get the gas tank back in and all hooked up, thanx to carzy for the great condition part... Next comes the rear suspension which my RB springs and sway bars came today and new endlinks so hopefully by the end of the weekend I will have some major work done towards getting the rear back in and the front started...

I felt like I made real movement forward since up till now it seems like everything has been take apart and work to clean it up and wait wait wait for parts...

Nice job bro. It is a PITA removing that actualy evrything in the rear is a PITA. You can remove the motor and front sub frame drop it on the ground easier then you can remove the rear drive train assembly.

it was alll getting the filler neck hooked back up that was difficult... damn thing is like a level 9 challenge on the patience scale...

But once I get the new subframe bushings and rear control arm bushings I need then I will press them in and continue on with the install... just need to goto hardware for new bolts and nuts to replace the old rusty ones.

im assuming ur using a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most difficult?

sorry im bored in college (actually passing my classes this semester) and congratulations on your work, i had to remove my tank at one point because my idiot little brother decided to put sugar in my gas tank...little ******, luckily my parents caught him and now hes grounded for the rest of his life lol

and he had to pay for a new tank and a little extra goodies along with it

wow... that would suck and I would have to say I might break my foot off in his ***... lol

and yeah 1 is like changing a fuse and 10 is like figuring out where you have a bad wire in the main harness... lol

That would suck ****...

So I pulled out the bushings on the subframe and got it blasted and painted and I got new bushings today... and then I noticed... wait a minute why is there metal on the outside of this new bushing.... OH CRAP I didn't get all the bushing out... and I JUST finished painting... ARRRRRGGGGG

oh well is done now and paint is pretty much unchanged... new bushings go in this weekend after I assemble my NEW 10 ton press... d00d imagine 20,000 lbs of pressure in a 2 inch diameter areas.... OUCH!!!!

lol
