Finally bought a T2, Pics enclosed

Finally found a T2 again. It's overall in good condition. Bought it from Eric from Mr. Mazda. He said he bought it from a old lady that didn't want it anymore. He said he replaced just replaced the clutch and some other things. Its overall pretty damn clean. Came with stock stereo in working order. First thing I did was put new NGK's plugs in there, put my older stereo in there, installed the S5 tail lights and more to come. I'm going to modify the door panels to accept 6.5 speakers. I'm taking part of the lower door panel from my 90 N/A parts car. Got it for $3500, He put on the pink slip sold for 1000. Just got it registered (passed smog) and insurance til feb. 2004.
First modification I'm going to do is get a boost controller, intake, downpipe, midpipe, and exhaust work done. After that, I'll be putting in a rebuilt engine with a big street port. My future plans are to upgrade the fuel system, throw a T04, front mount innercooler and go Microtech.

Very tight car. I'm jealous grr if only mine had a hoodscoop.

Quick question though: how do you guys in cali pass emissions and all that jive with down and midpipes and all that smog-producing jive? Massachusetts is about to go to cali standards (******* hell, i hate this state) and I dont even know where to begin with getting the car to pass after modulation.......?

Thumbs up

Excellent work mate! Looks like you got a great deal, and the car looks like it's in top notch condition! Can't wait to see the performance mods getting done to it!

Is the paint original? It looks like it's been well cared for.

I'm also looking into the Blitz SBC Boost Controller. If anyone has one yet, let me know how its working for you. I'm planning on getting it with the optional harness for the a/f ratio, etc...

around $500 a pop.. expensive fudgers..

Well, the Blitz SBC II Boost Controller just came out. It looks real nice and the features are also great. You might want to check it out online and read the features. I plan on getting this before the end of the year. I'll tell you guys how it works out. I have a perfect place to install it too. I'm trying to keep my car nice and clean. I don't want gauges everywhere. I'm not going to paint any of my interior parts. But I want to get a set of aftermarket seats. The leather driver seat is torn .. but the passenger seat is cherry. Anyone know of any good decent priced seats.

Well for whatever you need see if Jason at www.rx7store.net can get it for you(I'm sure he can).

About seats theres Sparcos or Momos that I like. For like $530 a piece you can get sparco Torinos in cloth which look badass IMO. I plan to go with only Momo for interior stuff so I want the street seat they have.
