Finalizing Project: Need electrical assistance

S4 N/A Base model

So I received my autometer gauges for Boost, A/F and water temp.

I need a good 12 volts input for lighting and power, where do you suggest I take them?

Now after that, all I need to receive is my resistor pack and I can finaly start her up...and thats if everything goes well...A little appreciation on her part would be nice after all I have been threw...I'm doing this for her too you know!!

just tap into the stereo wiring harness for the 12v.

I am not sure the exact wire color but I think it's green with a red stripe but you might want to double check but I hooked my gauge lights to the switch for the headlights. That way when I turned on my headlights then the gauge lights came on as well.

If you want your gauges to dim like they should, tap into the dimmer circuit for the lighting. It's a wire at the headlight switch but I don't know which one since I don't have my Haynes handy...Look it up as it is in the diagrams (it's the wire that connects to all the illume lights). Connect one side of the gauge bulb to that wire, then the other side to ground.

Nothing more annoying then having the dash lights nicely dim while the gauges are off to the side blinding you...
