final assembly on a tii
ok when i pit the rotors in place in the rotor housing are they subosed to be turned so the apex seal is at the bottom most part of the housing or dose it matter. Because i put it all together and looked in my manual and said that the rotors need to be indexed to that position. I think that the e shaft will set them right or do i have to tear it down and indxe them correctly?
the eshaft will only fit in there one way with the rotor sitting inside the housing. so just drop the rotor in, put the eshaft inside it, slide the middle plate on, and the 2nd rotor will only fit in there with the eshaft lined up perfectly. so just rotate the eshaft (which will spin the rotor as wel) til it lines up. you really cant mess it up cause it wont fit unless its lined up right
i just read more of your post. yes, the eshaft will set them right.
and the crank pulley also will only go on one way, so you dont have to worry about that either (just make sure you line up the marks right when setting your timing)
