I found this cold air filter, and I was planning on making a cold air box, but this looks like it could look pretty sweet, anyone have experience with it? Its looks like it could be funtional. Opinions? Thanks

If the air it's pulling in is hot then it's not a CAI...
To me that plastic cover just looks like it would inhibit airflow while continuing to draw the same hot air from wherever.
Ambient temp is what it is regardless of if you have plastic over your filter but that's just what I'm thinking.

yeah, that looks like a gimic to me... just something to look cool that will probably actualy decrease airflow...
the only real way to make a cold air intake is to make your own cold air box, or use tubing to relocate the cone filter somewhere outside the engine bay
