Filler neck / radiator gasket
Anybody ever had any problems getting the o-ring sealed just right? I took the neck off the other weekend after removing the radiator for some cleaning. After cleaning every thing up, I tried to put the o-ring back into place and the thing seems to be larger in diameter than the grooved slot is for it. Any thoughts?

Try using a plastic pry bar. You can get an entire set for $5 at harbor freight.
I havent tried this on a radiator o-ring, but it works for other things.
Take the large pry bar (about 3 inches wide) and cut it in half.
Place a point of the o-ring into the groove.
Place the flat uncurved end of the prybar just in front of where you need to press it in.
While you are following with your finger, slide the pry bar over the o-ring. Your finger is what keeps the ring in the groover as you press it in with the pry bar. It takes practice but once you have it, it's easy. REMEMBER! PLASTIC PRYBAR ONLY. For god sake, don't use a metal one for this.

Pump the good Black RTV to the gasket.
Right the sealant called THE RIGHT STUFF.
you can always lay a bead of Rtv and then place your Gasket in the rad's groove. Then place the Plastic Upper on, and Crimp.
