FIDANZA Flywheel Owners - regarding flywheel-to-rear counterweight bolts?

Were you able to find the (6) flywheel-to-rear counterweight bolts in the correct length/strength?? The bolts in the bolt kit I purchased from Mazdatrix (Sold for the Aluminum Flywheel, RB I think) work but they seem a little short. The end of the bolt could be ~3 threads longer and it would sit flush with the backside of the counterweight. My friend who gave my the flywheel said he was never able to find the recommended bolts so he ended up cuting and re-taping his own. Just curious what you used, I don't want to use the Mazdatrix bolts if they need to have more surface area... you know.. thanks!!

I believe the recommended grade is an 8, length is 22mm?

use never seize though. stainless bolts are strong and seize happy.

ARP is the best bolt company in the world for the automotive market...

not only that but if you bought the fidanza flywheel from fidanza or a fidanza dealer u would have gotten the CORRECT flywheel bolts the first time..

I called arpfor those bolts I don't think they had exactly yhe right size. I went with the ones that were a little bit short and used thread lockerf. After tons of searching I never found the right bolts in the 10.9 hardness.

just got off the phone with my friend to confirm, he purchased the flywheel from
Fidanza in '04 and NO bolts were included at that time. He cut and re-tapped bolts that he purchased seperately but suggested I buy a new set as the ones he was using were 1 grade under the recommended strength. Probably not a huge deal?? It is good to know Fidanza currently includes these bolts!! I will try and contact them to see about getting a set. Thanks everyone for all the info!!

the fidenza i just purchased came with bolts, but i used bolts from mazdatrix. no clue if length would have been an issue with the fidenza bolts.

arp + never seize + 40 ftlbs = win.. lol actually i just remembered i swaped with my buddy, he had the right size bolts from a os giken clutch, and my arp was a hair long, but i cannot fit lock washers or washers between my disc and flywheel, but his had the clearance... so.. we did that. none the less.. never seize + 40 ftlbs.
