Fiberglass Splitters---> My Pics
I have the one from demonspeed and was pleased with it but it is time to replace it.
Does anyone know of the other company that makes the same exact splitter as Demonspeed? It seems Demonspeed is a bit difficult to do business with these days?
Here is a pic of mine on the car

Thanks for the reply's.
The bumper is a stock S5 trimmed for the 32 row GReddy Type R fmic. The bumper required major trimming to accomodate the fmic, more so than their thinner core obviously. I also cut out the additional opening and reinforced the thin strip part and the edges around the opening by bonding several layers of cf to the backside of it. The fog lamp openings also rerquired major trimming to accomodate the ic tubing. I think it came out pretty good, if I do say so myself.
The hood is a vented Panspeed Type II hood. Big *** hole in the hood right above the radiator.
The existing splitter has been destroyed. I must replace the splitter as it is an integral part of my cooling system since I have aluminum panel ducting integrated into the design of the splitter to direct fresh air to the radiator and oil cooler underneath the ic. Works great btw.
As for painting the splitter, that would be a complete waste of time, energy and money. Why paint it so it can look good for a week until I have to pull into the first steep drivaway or accidentally hit a curb and crack/chip the paint. I'll leave that for the ricers as I have mine for functionallity and am not willing to waste any more effort on a high attrition part than I have to.
Besides, I think it looks just fine black as the original gelcoat finnish is quite nice.

Know anybody who can fiberglass and make a mold? I have a brand new authentic mazdaspeed lip sitting at home if you know someone who can replicate it. It'd be nice to have an extra MS lip or two for each of us.

Ours also come gelcoated white, it's the same color as the white FCs, I put one on on 10AE and it matched right on.
(Yes I know the 10AE is an S4, I just stuck it on there quick to check color)

fc3s.org might be interested in replicating those if they have not already. Unfortunately I do not have a good hookup on fg or cf work.

corksport.com already makes replicas, but it woulda been sweet if you had some connection. I guess you could try ordering another one from demonspeed. Just make sure to do C.O.D. only.
BTW how much power did you put down at the dyno over the weekend?

Mazsport makes a lip that is very similar to the Demonspeed. You can try to contact Relisys190 on the forum, he was the one that sold the Mazsport lip I believe. Or you can order it from Demonspeed, but make sure you pay COD ONLY! That is the only way people ever actually receive products from them.
