A few questions about series 4 to 5 conversions.

On a Series 5 TII, doesent it have a higher redline? So in therory, I could rev higher than the redline, and even though the buzzer comes on, the engine is mechanically stable? And which flywheel do I use? The one that comes with the engine right? Can I use the 87-88 TII Clutch set I just got on a 89-91 motor? There cant be more than 100 miles on it.

lighter rotors and higher compression account for the higher redline.

all tII's have the same redline. the 89+ internals should handle the higher 8k redline of the N/A but at that point the stock turbo is just chocking it bad and the fueling would be running low.

If you use an 89-91 motor you'll need the 89-91 flywheel, but the 87-88 clutch will be ok to use.
