few questions about downpipe removal

ok first of all i got the ss autochrome exhaust system through the gb on the forums and it looks great. but when i went to install it the downpipe seems almost impossible to remove. i have a 87 t2 and i dont know what kind of wrench to fit in there, not to mention thats after i figure out how to bend the stupid prongs back to get to the nut. does anyone have any suggestions on this? also there was a port that went to stock exhaust maybe exhaust temp or o2 i just removed the long metal rod that connected to it and now its just open, what to do with this? thanks in advance !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

14mm wrench, if you have to, remove the DP with the turbo and use a smoke wrench to help get them off, worst case that is though.

its just that its at such a wierd angle, and there is little room to fit a ratchet in there so a wrench comes into play but then trying to bend the prongs back... guess its a little hard when you are on your back trying to remove it =/

for the tabs, come in from the side with a straight slot screwdriver and twist, then use the box-end on the 14mm wrench, easy as pie, especially when all your back.
