Few Questions about a/c p/s removal

Well I got most of the stuff out execpt some of the hoses for the p/s and then the condenser for the a/c.

Anyways for the p/s...Do I unhook the metal lines that connect to the actual rack? Or do I plug it where the plastic hoses first connect to the metal lines??. Also Is there an easy way to get these off? they are being a bitch for me, and are starting to strip.

Also for the condenser, I cant get off the 1 hose that goes to it. Just on there mad tight, and suggestions to taking these off? Oh ya also....When i take the condenser out...Where does the oil cooler go, by the looks of it, it almost looks like it is connected to the condenser, but I could be wrong??

The condensor comes right out without the cooler even moving.

Cut the lines. unless you want to go back you don't need them. I took the PS lines off at the rack and put in new bolts cut to size. Just make sure you get most of the fluid out before you plug the hols with the bolts as you can't compress a liquid and you won't be able to turn lock to lock if you leave too much in there.

I just removed the oil cooler. All the bolts were rusted and I every one of them broke off the brackets. So... I took out the good ole cutting wheel and grinded the brackets off. Before I did that though, I DID have to grind through 4 of the oil cooler lines. The nuts on those things ARE mad tight, and I just stripped them. I'm not planning on selling the unit, so I just cut it to pieces. Be careful if you go this route though, I almost cut into the motor oil cooler (that would be bad).

Have fun
