I was searching the fourm for a while and couldn't find any answers so I thought I would just start a new thread. I dont know a lot about Cars so these questions might be dumb

What is the next step is upgrading the performance of my RX7? (88 SE) Right now I have Racing beat headers with HKs Exhaust system coming straight off the headers and a K&N air filter that replaces the Mazda "induction" system. I believe the Cat is removed being the Exhaust comes off the headers (I could be wrong..) I heard many things too Add horse power (Nitrous, Remove AC etc) But Just had a couple questions about that...

The AC sucks anyways, and I wouldnt care if its removed, but how much power would I gain if I removed it?

Also What is Nitrous? How does it work? Whats the benefit of having it? How much will it Cost? Will it hurt my engine? Dont have to explain it all just maybe a link to a good website that could provide any info...

AC only takes 5 hp when its running, so i dont think it will benifit if you removed the AC. (or at least this is how it works on my friends AE86, so i can assume its not too much diffrent)

You wouldn't gain any HP by removeing the AC unless you drive around with the AC on 100% of the time, the car would be just slightly lighter.

You will lose resale value however.
