A Few minor street port questions

Hey guys, well I know how these boards go if you dont search you get flamed, if your a newb you get flamed anyway, but I did a little reading on street porting but nothing much came up. If you can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it, If not I have a few questions for you guys.

Well I am picking up a FC Turbo II shell in the upcoming week... I plan on ordering a 13BT motor from these guys http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6755 ... it comes with a 2 year warrant on defects in worksmanship and material, They guaratnree a compression of at least 9.0 Kg/cm3 and they are "Mazdas only master certified builder in the U.S" I don't know if they are reputible but it sounds good to me, anyone with feedback on that is welcome.

So after I do that my first plan is to streetport... I understand I should probably get Gauges to watch, I have been told the engine could run lean, So I figure with the streetport I should get a AFC? and have it tuned, anything else I should consider when getting the streetport?

I then plan on upgrading to a T66, and FMIC on the 13bT motor with streetport how much boost can I run? obviously I will upgrade the fuel system, I plan on getting a BOV. This is my first time with rotary and with turbo, but anything else I'd need? can I run 10-15lbs? how much can I expect to see from an Aggressive Streetport? how much from a mild? all feedback appreciated!

That's eBay seller SCARES me.
Check his feedback - although he claims he has done it before, he has *NO* feedback from a buyers - they are ALL sellers.
So how can he claim he has done it before when he does NOT have feedback for a sale???

Also, I don't think "kg/cm^3" is a pressure measurement!

The listing smells of BULLSHIT all over it.
Sure, the price sounds really nice, but if it's bullshit, it's not worth a dime.
Please folks, do some research on eBay listings first before dropping your hard-earned cash.
I'm tired of reading about people getting ripped off.
I managed to figure this out in 2 minutes; it's not very hard to do...

BTW, reading your original post gives me a headache.
I can't tell if you know what you're doing ot if you're just posting bits and pieces of info you got reading from other references.
To me, it sounds like you have no idea what you are doing.

1) How much money do you have?
2) How much power do you want? What are you performance goals?
Let's start with that and go from there...

Oh, if you're still lost, check out my website...
It's in the .sig

HMMMMMM...a SHELL for $1000. Is it gold plated??? A engine for $1500-2000, I take it itll be all new seals with all used parts, and a possible streetport. $2000-4000 for performance mods, so thats and a RB exhaust, a nice fuel system, a good intake, a bunch of worth while gauges, and a hybrid turbo.

Im not going to hate, but you gotta start with the end in mind. My 90 vert will, one day, have a $4800 engine. And thats from Rob Golden at pineappleracing.com . I know that engine will be able to handle nearly anything. An 80 shot of nitrous will cost around $800, (this will be an imaculate nitrous system), and the fuel system will cost another $700-850. I havent even begun to list anything for my 10th AE TII. Just my two sense, start with the end in mind, get a better engine than you need, itll last longer and its better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

check all ebay profiles and feedback, if he is the only mazda supported builder he should have hundreds of replies from buyers or proof that he isn't BSing people in a scam.

Gains from street porting in anywhere up to 20%.
It is almost impossible to give you a better idea since not everyone street porting is identical.
10% to 15% is typical.
