oh yah, i decided to paint my rims black since i dont really care about them.

That's not an SE. Hell, there wasn't even an SE in 86. There was a Sport (like mine)... but that's not what you have.

Its a 86 BASE. SE is what they called BASE in 88.

Mine is a 88 SE and looks exactly like yours. Except with some newer looks on the inside.

Im not a big fan of spray painted black wheels. Personally, they make the car look like a junker. I would spray paint them silver or aluminum or something.

I would also install a S5 radio and vent trim and get rid of the plastic crap that breaks even when new. They pretty much pop right in.

LOL, I love how you painted them while there were still tires mounted on them and they were on the car!

FCking - the car has roughly 200k miles on it and it runs great! but theres a minor oil leak i found, if u look under where the battery is and look up a little theres a leak, dunno what it could be. will take a pic of it later.

masonrx7 - im not really into those kind of rims sorry, im looking for some mesh wheels like the good ol BBS ones.

i took a trip to the junkyard earlier and picked up some parts including a lip from an old school celica. i did this to my old FC so it should look nice on this one aswell. i will post pics when im done.

heres a pic of my old FC i had back in 2003-2005:

The leak is coming from the oil lines. Change them now or else you'll be sorry. I just fixed mine, they are kinda a PITA to do. Get some aftermarket stainless steel braided lines.

As mentioned, SE wasn't that far off. Both the 86 Base (what you have) and 87-88 SE were the low end models. Just wanted to clear it up for you.
