Arrow feeler interest: FC sleek light kit

We have built and designed plenty of parts for the FD and now we are looking to see what kind of interest there is for a nice sleek light kit for the FC. Our kits for the FD are top of the line, with h9 and projector bulbs included as well as plasma charged bulbs, the next big thing in lighting.

So we want to make something for the FC. I love the FC, being my first car and my first build. This will be a kit to tie in modern with the old, eliminate the pop-ups and be affordable in the $450-$650 range depending on what setup u pick. soo, let us know. we are here to see how many people are interested. I would like 15 people intertested to start the molds. WE will cover the costs of the part and the molds, and all tooling involved. if you have suggestions or questions call 435-232-3633 or email us at wanarace74@hotmail.com

I would be interested in a sleek light kit, though as long as the kit itself doesnt not intrude upon the front bumper, other than that Ive been looking for a set to replce the heavy popup system.

I am in only if. They are flush with the body. Have a HID or Plasma options. Fit the RE FC2k kit or close enough to mold it in. A good exsample of style of flush light would be the CP racing setup "halos look good too" and the RE flush light kit. The ones that look like 2 eye bals sticking through some fiber glass ar UGLY "like in your sigi" it should be a light housing alot like CP racing setup. The LED tails are sweet!

ugle

Good

The good ones are like in a casing inset even though they are ugle bulbs inside.
The one I said was bad looks like 2 bulbs sticking out plus they stick up above the rest of the car lines and hood.

Just my thoughts for a light kit that I would like.

I would be interested (around summertime). Would like more information about actual modifications that would need to be made to the bumper, much like the posts above mine.

Since you do body stuff too. I would be interested in a front skin similar to this one.

Basicly 3 agresive frot ducts with 99 spec corners and a lip.

IMO the side ducts on this one are to angled or large. The upper midle cutout duct is unecisary the main center duct should just be enlarged. Maybe pre make it with flush head lights.

I'd be interested if it retains the stock light cover and only partially raises up. w/ molded lights and perhaps an air intake between the 2 lights (??). -it'd be similar to a lazy eye look, but w/ actual finished panels that looks nice w/ modern lights similar to your 3rd gen kit. Its best to keep the stock look of the car when the lights are down, but would be perfect if everything below was modernized.

For some reason, not having the light covers match the color of the hood bothers me. It really breaks up the lines on the RX7. It'd be a different story if you remade a hood and lights to match.. something that removes the square cutouts on the hood and replaces the lights (perhaps covers) with something that flows better. -just a thought.

There is no way to make a flush light kit with the body lines without cuting the bumper guys. It would have to stick up like the bug eyes ones. And for the air duct thing go look at your lights there is a beam "core suport" across there no air will pass into the bay.

That blue FC is Carl Bycks car.

The blue FC is ugly IMO ... the round FD parts dont blend with the sharp FC lines

why not just use the whole front end of a FD

But there are some of use who do not mind the bug eye look. Personally it kinda blends in withmy phone dials and soon my 91 coupe wheels. But the question was asked for several kinds, which leads me to believe that everyones suggestions will be heard and then theyll decide on very possibly several different kit options. If it wasnt for the bumper cutting id be all for any of the flush mounts, but i just dont want to cut, as well as others whod like to not have the same body kit or front bumper as everyone else......jsut my $.o2 Ice, no offence

Second'd! If you can make them, and price them similarily to your FD taillights, I think people will already have found their alternative to S5 taillight swaps. I'd definately be intrested in that, your guys' FD taillights looked great!

I would be very interested in an affordable setup that did away with the pop-ups. Something like the RE kit, but not so damn expensive.

wow i am so pleased so many are interested. please head over to the GB section and add your name to the interested list. What we gather from YOU is how the lights will look. and it seems the majority is in line with what i personally wanted. They WILL retain the stock pop up cover lid shape, no cutting into the front bumper. They will not bubble out and up over the body contour. There will be one slight variance where the larger bulbe sites, i wanted it to break the "flat" look just barely. and ill show a drawing soon. They will be availabe with regular h7 bulbs and hella plasma charged highs. OR the h9 projectors from hella for lows and hella plasma charged highs. It will be affordable enough for most to get the hella plasma charged highs version, but we will still offer the lower cost version.

OK here's another question for you: would u like the larger bulb on the far side by the fenders or on the inside by the hood? look at the picture i uploaded of our FD kit: the big bulbs are on the inside....
please if you are seriously interested go sign up in the vendors GB section on this thread. there is a list started.

I'm intrested, but highly dependent on how the final looks.

I'd rather not cut my bumper, but I can if necessary.
