Feedback on Tilton twinplate

Anyone using this setup on their FC? Im currently on the Exedy assembly and it's nearing failure after 10k miles which included different autox and track events.

Hows the engage characteristics? Any side notes I should know of? Also, where did you purchase it? Thanks in advance.

What does one of those run? Most aftermarket companies charge an arm and leg for twin plate clutches..

What diameter clutch are you interested in? I hope this is a 99% track car since the small racing clutches are not very streetable. The 7.25" 2 disk from Quarter Master will work very nicely on a track car.

We run a 7.25" QM twin disc on an FC race car. It's basically an on/off switch but it will handle 600 ft lbs of torque. We had to space the fulcrum point out about a 1/2" for the clutch fork to keep the clutch slave cyl. in its range. I'm going to run a single disc version on mine, its good for 300 ft lbs, thats about twice what my NA will put out. We get ours from Hoerr Racing Products, they don't list it on their site but can get them no problem at a good price

I have an older OS Giken twinplate im my car the one I have is still streetable to a point but grabs like a son of a bi%$h. Also you cant downshit to slow down it grabs so well its locks the tires. Make sure you locktite the bolts that keep the disks in i forgot on mine and they were half off when i checked it almost chopped my feet off heh.

The Giken clutch looks like the Quarter Master Pro-Series clutch.

Thanks for the feedback. Diameter hasn't been something i've thought over, more so holding power under severe conditions. I'll look into some of the recommendations made so far.
