My check eng. light will momentarily flicker on about once a week. It's always code 17, the feedback system. What is this all about?

Oxygen sensor circuit. Check for broken/grounded wiring in harness. The ecu isn't receiving signal. Mine broke under the shielded cable.

I bet it is the wire going to the o2 sensor. It gets brittle as hell over time.

the specifica are in the book, but basically 17 feedback is the ecu looking for a varying 02 voltage, under cruising/closed loop, when it doesnt see that you get code 17. it usually means the 02 is dead/unresponsive. 15 i think is if the 02 voltage is way wrong, but dont quote me on that its doesnt come up a lot

My O2 sensor wire was broken somehwere deep in the harness. I just drilled a small hole in the firewall and ran a new wire from the O2 sensor to the ecu.
