FEDEX sucks...

Man I ordered my turbo timer from rx7store.net and they sent it fedex. I ordered this on last saturday. I guess it gets sent out on Tuesday. Thats fine. It starts in Columbus, OH. By wednesday it is in ATL. It was still said to be there today, Friday the 12th. So I call and find out they put it on the damn wrong truck and is now on its way back to ATL! Now since its Friday, they said it will be sent from ATL to me in FL on Monday. So that means it might get to me Tuesday, that is if some jackass doesn't put it on another wrong truck. I am tired of waiting for my car to cool down already. Alright I am done.

IF you think UPS is so hot then check this out. This is the 2nd time this has happened on the same type of item. And the 5th time Iave had a damaged item that their insurance refused to pay for. This was reufsed also.

Interesting, all my experiences with Fedex have been great. They've been rather fast. UPS isn't bad either though.

I've had lots of problems with Fedex. I don't think they could find their butt with both hands( they sure can't find my house.) Hardly ever had a problem with UPS.
i've called Fedex looking for my packages and the people have sounded stoned.

LOL But I got it, the following tuesday. But seems like they liked lugging that heavy SOB around ... Bet they lost some money shipping that 88 t2 trans

That really depends, if you are shipping thru USPS, make sure that whatever you are sending fits on their priority mail (or express mail)boxes\envelopes. Based on my experiences, if it doesn't fit in their boxes\envelopes, IT WILL TAKE FOREVER.

And then again you don't have any way of tracking it, cahnging address, etc.

UPS has the best value overall on parcels, especially when you are shipping ground.

FedEx has excellent small package and letter service but is $$. Their ground service stinks.

USPS has improved a bit during the last few years. I think they're quasi government now, similar to most public transportation co. They do offer tracking for priority mail for 40 cents but it isn't very informative. It's pretty cheap though.

USPS tracking sucks, it only tells you the date it was shipped, not very helpful. FedEx has been the best for me, always on time, never a damaged box. UPS has delivered at least 20 damaged/broken boxes to our company, and has insured not a one of them. I once recieved a box that was empty, the thing inside had fallen out along the way due to the box being damaged so badly!

I had a ups package once that just roamed around the country searching for a home, it never did get to me, but tracking that thing was mad fun, went all over the country and got lost somewhere in illonois! I forgot what it was, I think it was some CD's or something.
