CO FD3S torsen in S5 TII?

This gets really confusing. As I searched for answers I only found more questions....

I have this beautiful torsen diff from a FD, I have searched and I mostly find stuff about Miata Torsen diffs being swapped. Now from what I know I can install the FD torsen in the stock diff housing to replace the viscous LSD. Now I read that it's a straight swap, I read that you need S4 TII short stubs, axles etc.

Any one done the swap? I just want a parts list *tears hair out*

Yes. There are 2 different S4 stub shafts, one that are compatible with S5s, and one that isn't (the very early '87 stub shafts aren't):

you need the later 87-88 LSD version ( P019-27-270B ). The same thing goes for any LSD you put in a TII.
