FD Wheels with 25mm Spacer, widest rear tire?

This isn't for now, but maybe in the future. I'm looking to get some sort of drag radials for the rear tires. I have FD wheels which will fit on the rear by themselves, but I also have a 25mm spacer in the rear as well so it looks matched up with the front wheels. So basically with the 3rd gen wheels and the 25mm spacer what would be an optimal tire size to run for a temp drag wheel?

Please refer to the suspension forum - there is a HUGE thread ongoing for quite a long time about wheel fitment for the FC. Our resident FC guru Reted has answered most of the questions asked regarding tire size and offset in this thread...

One, if you're going to do serious drag racing, leave off the spacers - they are just not safe.

I know Nitto offers their NT-555R drag radials in 225/50/16 size that fit well on the 16" x 8" stock FD rim.
With no spacers, this is about as wide you can go in the rears.

I dunno how much power you got, but the 225 can easily handle a 12-second FC.

I probably wont ever want to go past 12's in my car, so i guess 225's will be good. Thanks.
