Hey can anybody tell me if its possible to put FD seats into an FC? and if its alot of work?

I've seen FC seats in the FB/SA but FD in an FC would be nice.

 

I've seen pictures of it done, I don't know how hard it would be.

 

I've done it to my drivers seat. I welded tabs to my FC seat rails so they would bolt to the FD bolt pattern. Unfortunately, the shape of the Fd seat bottom makes them sit a little higher than the FC seats, and I had trouble clearing the bolts with the seat position adjustment arm, so the seat sits too far toward the center console.

The height of the seat doesn't bother me but the off center position does, so I'll redo the bracket. I think it was worth doing, but it wasn't easy. But who wouldn't want FD R1 seats in their FC?

Next time I'm out at the farm where the car is I'll take a pic of the seat. Believe me, FD seats are a great mod for the FC. Totally superior for fit, stability in corners, not to mention they look 500% better than any FC 80s piece of interior.
