FD rims on a FC ??

I just picked up a set of FD rims and tried mounting them on my FC. To my disappointment, they didn't fit. They fit the lug pattern, but rub the springs. Are there rim adapters for FC to FD conversion ? Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Jason

www.corksport.com sells some spacers that will let you use FD rims.

how close? if they just rub a little, go buy some washers and put them on the studs before the wheel... this is like a mini 1.5MM spacer

you only need the spacers in front, back should fit good w/out them

if you dont put the spacer in the back the rear wheels are sunk in too far.

20mm hubsentric spacers all the way around. $120 a pair and the studs had to be pressed in
