FD nose on an FC

i can't remember who it is in here, but theres a guy wth a blue FC and he mounted an Efini nose to it and put some fender flares to smoothen the lines.

if u see this or anyone else with a similar set up, can u post pics of it, please?

thanks,
Carlos

I know who you're talking about. Can't remember his screen name for **** though. I believe his car is in the vB Garage so you could go through a few pages and see if it pops up.

thats an efini FD nose........FDs made after 1995 in japan......i believe this nose is a 2002 model specifically due to the bigger foglight inlets.

No, its just an aftermarket nose with '99+ spec FD turn signals. Definitely not an OEM bumper.

actually.... that is a copy of the "mazdaspeed" front bumper........ not the o.e jdm front bumper..... yes, the ights on the front are from the o.e bumper...... but that looks nothing like the 2002 fd..... the 02' fd had a mount for the license plate, not an air inlet... and IT IS a kit for the fc that isnt made anymore!!!!!

fabbing an inlet is easy..............but wow thats a unique kit.

so that being said, an FD bumper WILL NOT fit then?

of course the FD bumper wont directly fit on an FC. It can be made to with some fiberglass work tho. i had a thread about that same exact front end.... Its called a GTC bumper and it was made by Rotary Extreme. Its a copy of the Mazdaspeed FD nose. I think it looks awsome, but good luck finding one.
