i have a fd fuel pump in my 88 tII right now and im going to be upgrading to the haltech and upgrading the turbo as well. i have 720 injectors and i was going to get larger secondaries. anyways i was wondering if the fd fuel pump will be able to supply me with enough fuel. or should i just buy a walbro

IIRC, the FD is 225lph, and the Walbro is 255lph.

You may need to upgrade the pump but may not. I have an FD pump on my setup and it's perfectly fine. I guess it would depend on how much boost you plan on running and off what size of turbo.

I would go with the Bosch Fuel Pump or if anything the one RX7 Store sells. The Fuel Pump they sell got a good review from BDC. I also like the Aeromotive Pump it looks really nice, and its a good pump. I had a friend of mine putting 375 RWHP with that particular pump the (Aeromotive) and the car runs high 11's at the track. Also Ive seen that pump on other fast Rotarys running hard. But like Yakatk said it all depends on the size of the turbo your planning on using, and boost.

I have a Modfied Mag with Fuel pumps run on a bench test.

They had a FD pump and a Supra Walbro. The Supra Walbro outlowed almost everything.

Once I get the article I can post the flow rates.
