Question FD Front on FC

Does anybody here have an FD bumper, fenders, and hood on their FC. Anyone know how much work would be involved? Thanks.

I know there a couple kits that make the FC body come close to the FD look. Though, the best way to get FD look is to buy the FD. You would prolly come close to paying the same amout after buying installation and painting. (including car and tune-up etc.)

I don't want to even try to think about the costs and making a FD bumper fit an FC.

imho,

fd = curves

fc = lines

don't mix & match, it doesn't look that great...

My friend but a black R1 front on his s5. looked pretty cool. Motor blew before he could have it all sanded out and painted. I'll see if he has any pics.

It is purple, but I don't know who it belongs to. If anyone has any other pics of it please post up.

I think I might try it instead of the FC 2000 front like I had planned. Those FD flush lights are spendy though, but that would take away a lot of the complications of doing the conversion. I think that with shaved side and rear mouldings, a diff. rear bumper and some side skirts would look amazing.

hmm, i still think the FC and FD have their own traits that make them cool.. mixing them would be like incest, with a mutated, probably ugly outcome

i love the badass look of the FC

I would have to say that Duragon's cartoon looks more like an FD than an FC.... and the suspension seems to be a little loose....

The Yamaguchi 3rd gen book has pics of a white test mule FC with an FD front nose and engine in it. Actually looked half decent, but still as said, the roundness conflicts with the blocky 80's style of the FC.

Yeah I am just going to stick with the RE front I was going to do, and just be patient until I get a 3rd gen someday.

I also like this idea I may attempt the conversion myself.

I would have to say you are wrong on this....The windshield banner is in ENGLISH for one thing.....not only that, but cars there are required to have a plate on the front, and they do not mess around there like you can get away with it in the US a lot of times.....more likely, this car was one that someone bought in Japan and shipped it home...AUS maybe? but not Japan. can anyone blow it up and see what language the stickers are in? Only way this is in Japan is if it were done up for the product shows.

you do know that it is entirely possible that they removed the front plate for a show or photos, right?

More than half of all japanese car tuning and product companies have there names and logo in ENGLISH or Romanji. Where have you been? The language that the "Stickers" are in has nothing to do with the country it comes from.

Look at the Re Amemiya FDs. RE Super G is not japanese, but RE is a japanese company.
