The FD front brakes are functionally the same as ALL FC 4-piston front brakes.
There is no gain in performance by switching them.
You CANNOT swap the FD front brake rotor.
It's just too big.
This has been covered a bazillion times already.

No, the brake rotors have nothing to do with the wheels...
The hub is totally different from FC to FD.
Are you trying to retrofit FD hubs to your FC???
The FD brake rotors will not fit unless you run customer adapters for your hubs.

READ POST # 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how many times do you need to read "NO" before it sinks in bro? What "LOOK" are you trying to get??? The brake rotors will look the same and the calipers won't be too different. If you want improved performance use the TII brakes (4 piston). If you want looks then buy the Project Mu brake kit or the endless kits (haha ) but just quit your bitching.

^^^ we're not called the NYC of forums for nothing. Do a lot of research and put a couple of thick layers of protection around your dainty lil heart before posting again, especially if it's an issue that has been covered on MANY occasions.

am I the only one that thinks it's dangerous and silly to change out CRITICAL parts for any other parts JUST FOR LOOKS? change your front bumper for looks. Change your headlight and wing for looks. Don't *** around with your BRAKING SYSTEM for looks!! that's like going to your MD and saying: hey, look here doc. I have perfectly good, functioning feet but I want to wear a size 14 (you know the ladies like that ) instead of my ladies size 6. I know I don't need it and that my body might not be able to accept the size 14's but I just think it looks good.
seriously, do a 5-lug hub if you don't have 5 lugs, do a TII brake swap if you want the 4 piston calipers, upgrade to better rotors (there is a debate over the benefits of drilled rotors vs. solid) but YOU need to research before coming in here and posting non-sensical crap about how you're going to replace important parts (you know, the kind that can kill you or others if THEY FAIL!!) with parts that LOOK nicer!!!!
In the end you can do whatever you please. IF you do it then I guess darwinism is still in effect, except that it's not a predator killing off those who lack common sense, they're doing it themselves.

Just to give you an idea...
I run 12.19" 2-piece rotors on my FC, and the entire set-up was a few pounds lighter than the stock set-up.
This is mostly due to the 2-piece brake rotor, which uses an aluminum center.
When I weighed a 13.0" 2-piece rotor, it was several pounds heavier than the stock set-up.
More unsprung weight - ugh.
Those rotors are slightly larger in diameter *AND* one-piece, so I think the weight jump is significant.
More unsprung weight is going to hurt...
I wouldn't be surprised if it was 5 lbs. or more per corner...
