Fd-fc

I have been toying with ideas lately and just out of my love of the fc, but wanting the power and torque curve of a FD, I have been wondering what all is necessary for a FD tranny and engine swap. I know the basics such as drive shaft, ECU, engine harness, but is there anything else? And when it comes down to the particulars like, is there a company that makes a fc to fd drive shaft, on the ecu subject how hard would it be to get a apex'i powerfc for an FD and wire up a fc body harness to work? Any insight would be greatly appriciated.

The FD motor will mount up to the FC TII Trans and will be a lot easier to use.

As far as the motor, you will need to make mounts and probably go standalone.

Why don't you try a 13b-t before you think you need to jump to a 13b-rew.

an FC with an S5 13B-T with a smallish ball bearing turbo will have pretty much the same power and torque curve as an FD... if you're going to swap in a 13B-REW, I would just say go 20B, it'll be a lot better in the long run, and it's pretty much the same amount of work.

EDIT: also an if you're putting a power FC in, you would have to replace any of the harness that the power FC would be wiring into... so that's a non-issue.
