FD engine swap

So Im looking to do 13b-rew swap into my n/a rx7, and I was wondering if I got a front clip from an FD including the tranny what would I need to complete the swap? Would I be able to use the transmission if I put in a turboII diff? Could I use the FD intercooler and radiator?

You can use any of that stuff. Hell you could drop a 5.7ltr v8 block into if you want. But the question is will it bolt in. No, prepare to fabricate, and fabricate you will. Search there are alot of posts about this.

A front clip is going to be a waste, unless you part it out and then I think you will still will lose money.

Yes you can use the tranny. Just line it all up right when you are mesuring to fab motor mounts. Yes you can and is good to swap a TII rear end in. You will have to mesure and have a drive shaft made. Tranny mounts made too.

You must use a stand alone EMS. Any one you chose will be fine.

The RAD will not bolt us you use a FC RAD. The intercooler yea you can use it just figure out how you are going to mount it and cut weld pipeing for it.

Why you want to go through all this trouble I have no clue.

We've covered this plenty of times. Try searching for "REW swap" or "FD engine swap", "3rd gen engine swap" and variations on that theme.

It is not a direct swap. Basically, nothing fits. Mounts are available from SpeedMachine, but that still leaves you with custom everything else (turbo, intercooler and pipes, exhaust, EMS, etc.).

A lot of money...a lot of time...maybe even both.

Sure, can you say custom driveshaft???

Could I use the FD intercooler and radiator?
Why?
The FD owners upgrade those things.
The stock FC radiator is *bigger* than the stock FD radiator.

You see the stickies at the top of the list?
Please read FAQ for FC...
