Will an FD tubular manifold fit on an FC? If not, where are the fitment issues?

Wanting to add a Ching Chong Chinaspeed turbo to our 24 Hours of LeMons FC and seems that the FD tubular manifolds are cheaper and more plentiful.

 

you will need to make an adapter plate just to scoot the turbo 2-3 inchs away from the motor then you are good to go.

I knew Ive seen it done and now I remember.

I guess it would make sense to put the FD manifold on the FC since our LeMons FD has an FC tubular manifold. In case anyone is wondering, it fits like **** too and we had to notch the FD frame just a bit.

 

I mocked up a tubular FD mani to an FC and it looked OK,but I left it that and never added more parts to check clearance.
I have seen a double thickness flanged FD style mani with a T3 turbo( and adapter) on an FC though.Fit and running.

 

I have an FD ebay manifold on a 13bt with a t4 to t4 adapter plate using the twins scroll still. If anything I'll take a couple photos, when I can.

With a t4 1.0 twin scroll hotside, it will touch the lim every so slightly.

 

ive been trying to sell myne i have a fd maniflld that fits good on fc just have to move it over about 1 inch and your good pm me ive been trying to get rid of it for a month now...
