NC Fd drivetrain in a fc?? What all would i need??

Just wondering how difficult it would be to drop a full 13btt 5spd swap in a fc n/a?

Would it drop right in?

Would i need full harness and ecu?

Would i also need rear end?

Also it's a stupid idea. S6 = Pull type throw out bearing. S5/S4 TII is a push type like the stocker.

the 5 speed is a waste of time/money...however the 13b-rew into the fc is an awesome idea!!! you can use the stock t2 tranny with it

What you save in the cheaper chassis you will spend double or triple that in a proper conversion...

Actually bolting in the motor and transmission is the easiest part of that swap.
What's gonna kill you is the electrical...the FD has an insanely complex and intertwined wiring system and getting an interface between your FC chassis harness and the necessary FD engine control systems would be a nightmare (this assumes you need all the emissions to function).

custom engine mounts, lsd rear end, custom exhaust, custom driveshaft, radiator, haltech ecu, fuel pump.. if you can get the mounts made and a aftermarket ecu.. thats most of the major work

Sell your FD stuff to pay for the FC. depending of what you can salvage, with the money you make you can buy a running TII.
