FD calipers on my fc (i searched, but didnt find any for sure answers)

Ok a few things, i searched a little and found threads that made this job sound hard. Talking about spring and spacers and stuff, depending on if you use fd rotors. AAANNNDDDD I know there is NO performance gain from this.

But I need to replace my calipers as my driver side locked up on my while i was driving the other day, did it twice, then it seemed to stop, but i dont wanna take any chances. Also I have a fd set sitting in my garage so its gonna cost me about the same to replace these, but I like the way the FD ones look, that is all.

So if I use the everything FC (rotors, and whatnot) will the FD calipers fit?? Thank you all for bearing with me.

FD calipers are a bolt on if you have the 4 piston caliper brakes. There is no performance benefit, but they are prettier I guess.

It is likely that your brake hose is bad also. Replace both front hoses at the same time!

unlikely that the ss lines went bad, more so the hard lines. or could be some crud in the brake fluid.

you could just replace said calipers with the fd ones, and make sure to flush the crap out of the brake system.
