fd brake kit

question im still learning about mods i can do to my fc
i was wondering if it would be possible to use a fd big brake kit for the fc3s???

No, the caliper mounting points are further out on the FD, which will mean at very least you'll have the calipers too far in on the FC and I do believe that the offset of the rotors are different too.

I think RETED posted a Link to some brackets awhile Back..some guy was asking about the same damn thing(of course)...If I recall correctly they were from Yap-Pan!!..it was a bracket to either widen the calipers out,or to Go In between the FD caliper and the Mounting point on the FC.

If you want to upgrade, why not just use the stock FD caliper? They are very good with some decient pads.

Why?
So you can save a few grams of weight?
You do know that the stock FD brake caliper is functionally the same as any 4-piston FC front brake caliper, right?
