FD alternator on FC?
Curious what the benefits of the FD alt, is on FC? I have seen many guys have done it i the past, I am thinking bou tit due to the fact I have an S4 I am trading off, and to get it to drive n run, it needs an alt. I was going to put m S5 one o nit and just go get a new FD one fo rmy S5, would it be worth it? Id also be goign dual alt belt pulley on it if I did it. Any info?

silverrotor used to make dual alt pulley's for using an fd alternator on an fc. I got one installed it on my car and it works great. fd alternators put out more amps, that's why people go for them. You'll need the harness connector from the fd as well, it's different from the fc.

Nurse I need 1300cc's NOW
You can make a plug with 2 male (flat) terminals and 2 female (flat) terminals. Easy. I opted with the S5 alt because I got lazy and didnt do the dual pully. When this one dies I am going FD with the dually. The S5 is having issues lately. The only reason I bring this up is that because the s5 and fd alt use the same plug.

I'm sure there's other writeups on rx7 club, but I just found this one when I was looking for a pic of the plugs.
