FD Alternator

How do I go about getting this alternator? Can it be bought anywhere else? And how would I descripe this to the counter, just say "Do you have an FD alternator?"

I been going aroung the thread to find about this alternator, but nothing seem to stick out, so please can someone elaborate on this one, please!!

dealer dude, $250.00 or so. at least here in miami. the auto store ones are cheapy ones.

Go to Mazda (expensive) or a wrecker (cheaper) and say “can I have an alternator for a 1992-on RX-7 please mister.”

Try Mazda Competition for cheaper prices (www.mazdamotorsports.com).

Ask for a 93 RX-7 alternator.

Are you installing it on an FC?
It bolts right on (better than the stock IMHO).
You'll need to bore out your pulley and use the spacer on your old FC alternator since the FD has the spacer casted with the pulley.

I have a used one I could sell you for about $140 plus shipping.
