FD alt fitment
hey everyone i just got a FD alternator(sp) and its pretty big. i have a 88 T2 and i was wondering if there is going to be any fitment issues. also, where is everyone getting dual alt pullys from, i need one. thanks

as you say this, it already happened last night when i was getting the plugs out and found out my tmic was nicely charged i fixed it but man, that scared the **** out of me. so i should just watch for contact with the tmic and alt. can i put little rubber squares where it does touch to make a kind of insulation? thanks

^ That's what I was going to reccomend. I'd say get some weather stripping (like the big, 1" tall kinda stuff on the interior) and wrap the front of the TMIC. Little squares might wear thru, but that stuff should be nice. Make sure you use some kind of adhesive, nonetheless.
