came with aluminum hoods other than t2's?and where would the adapter go to put some freon for 134a on my 87 rx?

I know the 89-91 GTUs had aluminum hood. I think another model from 86-88 had them, but not sure... Easy way to tell is just from lifting it, very noticible difference, or by magnet.

Your RX-7 doesn't have 12A freon??? Did you convert somehow? I was told by some guy that it would not convert, but i think he was lying. 12A freon is something like $80 a pound, so really you dont save much money doing it yourself.

 

I think the convertibles have aluminum hoods.

 

I think all 89+ have aluminum hoods. The 86-88's vary.
