Is an FCD going to blow up my car?

So I'm running a walbro fuel pump and 720 secondaries, with a greddy boost controller and an Apexi S-AFC (both piggybacked of course). All non-necessary pumps removed and an FMIC.... oh yea and a 3" pipe straight back...... So I'm thinking about getting a FCD, maybe an HKS or Knightsport, but my question is..... is this going to blow up my car? Or better yet, am I going to blow up my car with it (yes, lol)

Oh yea, 89 TII

not if you tune in enough fuel for it at higher boost. You already have 720'sthe S-AFC so you have everything you need to properly turn up boost a little.

How are you running all that WITHOUT an FCD?

I am also surprised you haven't gotten one already. You must not be pushing it too hard, because you'd be well over stock with that set up. Get one, and get the AFC tuned, and you won't blow it up.

Get an rtek instead. About the same price with more features, and it's not tricking the ecu like an fcd it's just turning off that feature.

I was under the impression that rtek doesn't have a chip for the s5 turbo's out yet.....

Yeah, there is no Rtek for the S5 TII. Get an FCD, you are fine.

Eventually you'd want to go standalone though... just my two cents.
