you should probably just unplug it to avoid any complications........however I don't think it would really matter anyways since the FCD would just clamp the voltage where it needs to be......then the R-tek would simply think its never reaching the level of voltage that needs to be clamped.
But im not sure how the FCD is setup in the Rtek so if it were mine I'd just get rid of the old FCD to rule out any problems with that end of things.

If you'll post this on the RTEK forum you'd get a answer from the folk who made it. They don't monitor this forum. Here: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/forumd...ysprune=&f=168
Your screwing up if you install the FCD on a car with your RTEK 1.7.
IF you read the url I attached, it says that they removed the *code* for fuel cut. Now you come along and install a FCD. Youi now have limited the ECU seeing boost over 8.6 psi (voltage output of the sensor is clamped at approx 3.65vdc). The ECU will think your at 8.6 when your at ten psi. The ECU won't make adjustments for timing after the 8.6 psi but it would if the FCD was not installed.
Nothing but BAD can come from leaving the FCD on the car. You will have defeated one of the purposes for buying the RTEK 1.7 in the first place.
But you know that by the time you read these words because you linked to the site I pasted and read it by now.
